Kitty Barnes, Dale Martinez, Millie Martinez, Jan Woolheater, Don
Shawhan, Werner Koczian, George Baxa, Bob Nelson, Don LeGrand and Lloyd
Lindsay.
First point of discussion: Pacers schedule
variations vs. the website.
It was suggested that website information be input
no later than 5:00pm the day before the scheduled ride to help eliminate
confusion of start time and place of departure. It was also mentioned
that some one should report to the departure point on the scheduled time
to relay any last minute schedule changes.
Werner suggested that ride groups should try to
schedule a common time and assembly point to help members to get better
acquainted.
A motion was made by Kitty Barnes and seconded,
that Dale should have possession of the check book in the absence of
the Treasurer.
Another Motion was made to have $1000 per year set
aside for the Social Committee.
Bob Nelson Reported on the proposed changes to the
By-Laws. He handed out a marked copy of the proposal and it was
discussed and accepted.
Web site report: Jan asked for a back-up for that
position and Kitty volunteered.
There is a membership survey to be E-mailed.
Cycle Club to man the Schwertner rest stop for the
Red Poppy Ride.
Question was raised as to preference of scheduling
a Saturday or a Sunday for the Sun City Saunter rides.
Jan would like to see a Club ride scheduled for
Bastrop State Park and include a picnic.
Communications: Werner to see about creating a
business card for all members to carry. This would have Club
identification and web site information for the promotion of our Club.
Werner to set up a program to promote the Club at
New Resident Orientations.
Social Committee: Millie reported that the Club
Social is set for April 3rd, at the Pavilion Catered by the

She wants to start plans on a Fall party and a
Christmas party, and possibly have an outside group, such as Spin City
put on a demonstration of bicycle maintenance/repair.
Jerseys: Don Shawhan reporting on design
considerations while trying to maintain the original theme. Color
combinations were discussed.
